View workload per project

In Worklenz, you can view the workload for each project using three different views:

  • Chart View
  • Calendar View
  • Table View

Each view includes filtering options, allowing you to customize what is displayed based on your preferences. Use filters to get a more tailored and focused view of your project workload.

The workload overview provides the following key metrics for your project:

Team Members

Team composition and allocation status.

  • Total Members - The total number of members assigned to the project.
  • Overallocated - Members with more than 100% utilization.
  • Underutilized - Members with less than 50% utilization.
  • Optimal - Members within the ideal utilization range.

Total Workload

Total estimated workload across all team members.

  • Estimated Hours - The total hours estimated for all tasks.
  • Actual Hours Logged - The total hours logged by team members.
  • Progress - Overall progress percentage based on logged vs estimated hours.

Average Utilization

The team’s average utilization percentage, calculated from all assigned team members.

  • Total Assigned Hours - Sum of hours assigned across all members.
  • Total Team Capacity - Total available capacity of the team.
  • Formula - (Total Assigned Hours / Total Team Capacity) x 100 = Average Utilization %

Critical Tasks

High-priority tasks that require immediate attention.

  • Critical Tasks - Number of tasks marked as critical priority.
  • Total Tasks - Total number of tasks in the project.
  • Critical Percentage - The proportion of critical tasks out of total tasks.
